Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of Khorasan pasta?

Khorasan semolina pasta offers numerous benefits thanks to its unique composition. It is naturally rich in protein, B vitamins, vitamin E, antioxidants such as polyphenols, and essential minerals like selenium, iron, and magnesium.

Thanks to its low glycemic index, it is ideal for keeping blood sugar levels more stable, making it an excellent choice for those following a balanced diet or with specific needs such as insulin resistance.

Is Khorasan wheat pasta suitable for those with gluten intolerance?

Although Khorasan wheat contains gluten, it is often better tolerated than modern wheat by some people with non-celiac gluten sensitivity, thanks to its weak gluten structure which may be easier to digest. However, it is not suitable for people with celiac disease or those with a severe gluten intolerance.

It is always advisable to consult a doctor before introducing new foods into your diet if you suffer from allergies or intolerances.

What are the differences between Khorasan wheat pasta and common durum wheat pasta?

Khorasan wheat pasta is known for its flavor. The texture is unique: it offers a pleasant balance between tenderness and a firmness that keeps the pasta al dente for longer.

These qualities make it particularly suitable for rich and flavorful dishes that benefit from pasta that absorbs sauces well and maintains its integrity during cooking.
